Yeh i honestly have no idea about shocks and what lengths you should be running when it come to how much lift you have and if it will mess anything up running a bigger than needed shock.  I looked at monroe's site and they said that my overall extended length is around 16" stock.   The shocks i'm looking at will be somewhere around 23" inches and the mount is the same as bilstiens are and since I plan to lift my truck higher in the future why not go ahead and mount the shock hoop and get the longer shocks.
