Today I decided to dig up my front yard to see why I was losing water pressure again.  Come to find out, there was another leak thanks to another nice galvanized pipe again.  So I got pissed off, made up a few new bad words, and jack hammered this lovely mother earth a new hole, if you know what I mean.  Then afterwards, replaced that garbage with nice new pvc, schedule 40, not that thin sprinkler garbage, where you glue it, and as long as you don't hit it with a shovel, you are fine.  You can see the old pipe I cut off and left below the new one I ran.  It was close to 3 feet deep, we just went with code.  So a plumber buddy of mine came by to help me do it, since I am not a plumber, and we dug it up, changed the pipe, and covered it all in a day.  Oh yeah, there was about 4 inches of concrete, or hard pan, too.  Here are a few pics of this project.  I am glad it is finally done right now.  They also used 2 elbows at the street end to line up with the original trenching about 2 feet off.  It was an awesome workout though. :muscles:
