^ Had something similar, earlier this year... noticed a wet spot in the back yard, started digging and found an old 3/4" GIP rusted and stressed by tree root that had split open. Ended up placing 60' of PVC from the front yard to the back, all trenched by hand, under rocks, roots, and drains for gutters. Turned out to be a lot more work than I had expected, but since it only fed hose bibbs out back, I could take my time. Sure hauled off a lot of rocks, though.
