Didn't get a chance to beat up the dealer so there goes that dream ride...  ::)  However a fellow wheeler turned me on to an 85 EFI/auto that has been sitting for 5-ish years; water pump died so dude parked it. Asking $1500 but we all know that's not likely. Then today I find this:

88 SR5 4Runner, V6 manual trans, 280k miles (don't care) $1150 and on my way to work.   :eyebrow:  I'm waiting to get a phone number so I can call when I'm nearby. IIRC that should be a 23-spline R150 trans but with a chain-drive case, yes?
