So how is your heim joint steering setup holding up? Im doing the same setup but I was planning on running heims on the drag link with a flat pitman arm.... seems like the tie rod ends on my drag link wear out faster than on the tie rod since they have to move up and down a lot more....
Heim steering is holding up great. Granted, I don't put very many miles on it. Pretty much all off-road. I'm running TRE's on both sides of my drag link. My brother had some weird steering issues on his YJ when he ran a heim on the pitman arm side of the drag link. I never tried it, just stuck with a TRE's on the drag link. One of these days I'll rebuild a drag link using a heim on the steering side of the link.
