Thanks for the replies guys. Sometimes it starts fine other days it needs help. I looked at the fuel lines they seem new, I need to look inside the carb for that issue. I believe it has sat for a long time without being started or driven enough.
Also the fuel filter sits on the frame by the fuel tank, I thought the fuel filter was supposed to be bolted with a bracket inside the engine bay, maybe am wrong on a carbed 84'. I doubt that has anything to do with it. I am sure its carb related or the ciruct maybe as 1st gen said.
