I like that idea the best, btw yea it is hookie... you should seem some of the other wiring idea's the PO had....  :shake:

I'm fixing it all as I find it.. along with pulling a million feet of speaker wire out of the cab.

I don't think it's home electrical wire under the hood because it has "oil resistant" on the other jacketing... certainly not the same gauge.. I had originally planned on cutting that wire out and resplicing it w/ same gauge then wrapping it with a shrink boot. I've also gotta resplice the battery terminal's.. they're beat to sh*t.
