OK, if you are trying to fit a 4 cyl drive shaft, it is 1/8" difference in bolt patter.

As for the flanges, no they are not interchangeable.
A 4 cyl case uses a 27mm / 29 spline flanges whereas the V6 uses a 31mm / 30 spline flanges.

So I think all you have to do would be to press out the studs, and then slot the holes to match the smaller 4 cyl shaft.
