The worst case: My buddy and I were out playing around and he exploded a trunnion bearing on a hill climb (he runs 36s)
 He continued to drive his rig out hearing a nice pop every so often. (He needed 4 wheel to get out)
After we got out of the woods he put it in 2wd and drove home.

Ok here is the sad part. I tore the axle down to find what I suspected, an exploded trunnion bearing (drivers side)
An easy fix, So I started the repair as I inspected the housing and noticed that the inner axle seal was damaged badly...
At this point I had a bad feeling, so I pulled the third just for inspection and :rivers: a single trunnion bearing had worked its way through the housing and managed to get between the pinion and the ring.

 Needles to say the 529/ARB third was toast, every tooth was broken  :gap:

After this experience I decided to try out the trunnion bearing eliminator kit. I will let you guys know what I think
