Ive heard the same thing, but I just torqued mine down correctly and I even rechecked them the next time I pulled my tires off and they were still properly torqued.

I did not loctite mine and they are still holding the correct torque.

Yes, the torque is the same. I dont know what it actually is, but I torqued everything to 85 ft-lbs.
