why do the soft top?
It's cheap stuff but... it's worth it. My truck sat outside in some crazy rain storms and was my DD. I drove it to canada from sacramento with the top on and wheeled it a ton up there and drove home. $400 is nothing for that..
As for the soft top, just get a bikini top for the summer, no need for a soft top or you might as well not cut the top at all..
if ya get the kit don't cut your doors and screw part to the top like the directions say, that's dumb. Leave your doors full and make another set of half doors for summer (or take em off). Also if you cut your top you need to brace the back of the cab or it will buckle..
