ok i finally got a bunch of pics for you guys.  I uploaded them all to photobucket cuz its a pain in the ass to resize them all for this site.   the three link is almost completely setup.  I got more done tonight aside from the pics i have now.  i am working on the panhard bracket at the axle end right now and hopefully it will almost be done tomorrow.  the pics of the suspension flexed was just a temporary setup of the panhard so i could see how everything works.

I ended up finding a pretty good solution to the dredded 80 series LC steering.  i removed both lower steering arms and modified them.  the pass side arm is originally one big arm that goes to the front of the knuckle for the drag link to attach to, and to the rear of the knuckle for the tie rod to attach to.   i cut the rear half off because my tie rod is no longer in the rear of the axle..... so that was easy.   then i took the driver side arm (which normally faces the rear to connect to the tie rod) and i cut it off so i could weld it on the front.   It actually worked out really well.  i tacked it all in place and made a 1/4" plate gusset to run all the way up the arm.  Then i warmed it all up with the torch and burned it in.  I took both arms to work and stuck em in the mill and drilled out the tapered TRE holes to a 3/4" straight through hole so i can run 3/4"x 3/4" hiems instead of TRE's.  So that solves moving the tie rod to the front of the axle.  Now i am going to build a complete custom upper steering arm for each side that will bolt on via the two upper knuckle bolts and the ABS hole.  This will give me a double sheer steering setup which i think will be plenty strong!  Also i have decided to go with full hydro steering using a single ended ram, so i dont have to worry about drag link and panhard interference.
