Well here is the scenerio a friend just had a local shop in my town do a taco body swap onto his 85 4runner frame now they cant seem to keep the truck running it wont stay ideling. They are telling him that the previous owner told the shop he put 89 injectors into the truck so the shop is saying that the resistance is the issue why the truck wont stay running. This may seem like the answer however it dont add up because when my friend bought this truck it was not running right is was spitting and sputtering etc he took it to a local toyota mechanic and he had it running awesome in no time. Before the body swap was started the 22re ran with no issues what so ever. So why it wont run properly now they cant figure out and they feel it the injectors or something along them lines. My guess its a lose wire or something simple and not the injectors and a resistance issue at all.
