I don't know if it's possible to adapt a G52 rebuilt to a G54 into your first gen. I have one that I'm trying to get rid of. It was built by marlins shop a few years ago. The reason I'm trying to get rid of it is because I am upgrading to a turbo transmission. There is only about 50K on this tranny. I also have a clutch kit new for an 83 pu. I'm not sure if you need one or the compatability, but i'm only asking like 25$ and I'm local.
