Personally if you want a nice rid along with a little bit of lift Id swap 2nd gen (89-95) 2 wheel drive springs in the rear.  They are a bit longer to the front so they will naturally be softer and beings they are from a 2x they will have a bit more arch to them.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??
