To me it would be easier to just use the "GOOD STUFF" from the 2wd. Cab, bed and a few engine goodies. Just to get me going for my gangs Easter run, I'll just throw the cab and stuff onto the 83 running gear that I have. It's already got the rears up front, hysteer, and those crappy 63 inchers in the rear. Plus, I think that fabbing up some different body mounts would be easier than a SAS, and tranny T-case stuff. Meanwhile, I'll turn the 2wd frame into a 4x4. Be a lot easier (not to mention better looking fab work) if I do that while the cab is off. I also think that my 86 is just gonna get parted out. The frame is just too far gone. I was welding in some plate to fix it last night. And it was like welding in 1/8 inch plate to a soda can. Even at 40 amps on my stick welder I was blowing holes in it!!!

Weldo: budget, what budget I wish I had one. Kinda hard to do with no money. But that's another story.
