Well now you have heard of another two. First picture is a stock, the seconded is a Poly Performance alloy axle that I broke in two places.
I ran a 4-cylinder, ARBed, Genuine Geared diff on 37 MTR's & BFG's in the rear for many years with out a problem. V-6 or late model diffs (the four cyl in later years are the same as the V-6) are a bit stronger but IMHO not enough to worry about.
