Chances are it's your timing chain, your guides are shot. You have two choices, 1) replace the timing kit (chain, sprocket, tensioner, and guides)......2) advance your distributor to make up for the loss of power untill you can get around to doing it. Had the same problem w/ my 93.

OPEN THE VALVE COVER AND LOOK DOWN TO WHERE YOUR CHAIN IS, YOU CAN TELL IF ONE OF GUIDES GONE OR NOT. :thumbs:
