One of the best most successfull snow wheeling trips I have ever been on was with my '94 pickup all loaded down with food, tools, firewood and spare parts and another guy who had an FJ60 wagon. We were both pretty heavy but very well balanced front to rear. I think the rear ballast plays... Go for it.
