What did you put back together? Did you rebuild the engine?
If you are going to crack the cold start injector (the 5th injector on the intake plenum), crank it for 20 seconds or so, than crack it. If it sprays fuel you are good with fuel pressure.
If you took the distributer out, my money is on timing, however you could have other issues like clogged fuel filter. Used to have that problem on my old Civic (which burnt to the ground in the 4 mile fire, in boulder, two weeks ago). It sat for a long time and some crud built up in the tank and would keep it from running. I figured out it was the fuel filter, and I carried an extra all the time. It would actually just die in the middle of the road when it got clogged, like dead as a F'ing door nail dead. I replaced it maybe 4 times, and never had a issues with it after that.
