Also keep in mind that when i built my motor i used a 130.00 dollar head gasket that u don't really need unless u plan on runng 13 psi or higher. u could just use a rock auto gasket that goes for around 50.00 for the entire engine gasket kit with head gasket. so that rite there would knock 150.00 dollars off the rebuild price.
I do know that u would probably want to do a upgrade on the turbocharger setup as well like i did, it make a massive difference. here is my setup Keep in mind every bit of the work was done by me to cut cost. Also i didn't spair any cash when it came to this part and you could probly do a nice setup for half of what i spent and maybe even cheaper. Also keep in mind that u could spend 2000 dollars very quick when building this part.
