crazycooter, IN its original housing they arent as weak as in a conversion. Problem is actually the amount of engagement of the slightly shorter housing. BUT I was going to ask the same thing myself.... did it hurt anything ELSE when it blew up.... If its just a re-gear it wouldnt be that bad.
would be even better if it hasnt hurt the carrier bearings... but I doubt thats the case
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
