Ok, Sorry no pictures so just close your eyes and imagine with me ok... or dont since that will make it hard to read.  Showing pictures of my 4runner to a guy here at work, one of the service hands.  Well then he gets all excited to tell me about his truck he is building! a (everything in red is his words as i recall them) 1937 Chevrolet Apache! those were so rare with 4x4 from the factory, I probably have the only one in the state At this point I think I had my skeptical face on, but I think an old pre WWII 4x4 would be pretty cool.  then he showed me the pictures.

this is just something I found on the net but it is pretty representative of his truck.

Just picture it like 2 feet higher with some 40"TSLs. the truck has all the emblems shaved, a forward tilt hood, hydraulic dumping bed, and soon to have suicide doors with electric poppers.  Same aged rusted look, he is plans are painting it "hot rod black, with Gravedigger green flames with 1966 huger orange, with a huger orange interior. i already have the racing seats with the 6 point harnesses for it. It will never see mud though, its going to be my show truck"

And for those of you who have never seen a 37 Chevrolet, take a gander at the second pic.

his truck is a 1957(single headlights, no eggcrate grill), the picture I found is a 59 with an optional napco 4x4 conversion on it, until 1960 chevrolet did not "build" a 4x4, I am figuring his was just on a newer frame. Oh by the way the truck has a 454 big block with a holley 650 double pumper making 790hp. "it will flat out scream"

Wish i could have got pictures for yall but they were on his laptop and it was password protected :D  His OTHER mud truck is a 82 or so chevy stepside on 38"TSLs and the stock 10 bolt rear. told a story about how his other truck, his mud truck, was so awesome (this one only made 500 horsepower) that he blew up his rear end in a Sonic parkinglot.  Just too much engine for the truck to handle.
