Coils.. 
Many people tell me that alot of flex actually hurts your traction for rock crawling, which may be true, but if you dont have flex then you cant go places where rigs with flex can. 
many people dont know what there talking about......you surely dont want a rig that flexes at every little
obstacle...you have to have flex to keep your tires in contact with the ground...no flex....no traction...
