Here are some updates for you guys. Finally got my Tach installed last weekend. The factory one does not work with the engine swap. Started on a partial exo on friday. I got the main hoop, A-pillar bars and a cross bar connecting them done. I Welded what I could on top and left the lower section just tack welded to the sliders.When I get a few more pieces done I am planning on cutting the tacks and lifting up the whole cage to weld underneath. So we took some guys from Colorado out wheelin saturday and sunday. I wish I my cage was fully welded because I thrashed on it saturday! I ended up getting into a rock really had on the driver side, I had to back out of it and the rock grabbed my main hoop and ripped it right off the slider and bent it all to hell!
I was pretty pissed about that, not to mention I smashed both my doors and the driver side body panel right behind the door. Luckily I took the fenders off to work on the cage or I would have smashed the driver side one. So the following are pics of the cage and body damage!
