exactly.

I've had this happen on the trail, not to the extent of pulling a knife, but having a guy drive around (and hit) my truck.  Took pictures the whole time, let him go on his way, and reported it to the FS as soon as I saw a ranger.  I showed him the pictures on my camera, including the pictures of his license plate, and he was more than happy to take care of it. 

They wound up hitting him for driving off the trail, reckless driving, open container, and leaving the scene of an accident (the last one kind of made me laugh). 

hmmm. i wonder if its too late to call the leo's or fs and make a complaint.  i think i have their license plates in the pictures too.  i have to check.
