I've been checking out how to re-do the shock hoops so they stay on next time, still have some 3/16" plate leftover from repairing the frame... that oughta help some. From the looks of it I may have to weld that 3/16" in a box around the frame, like a sleeve, and gusset the crap outta it.
Heard back from that Tundra, the owner won't sell the engine/trans/wiring for what I offered (which was junk yard prices) but will let the whole thing go for $1500... now I just need $1500 and a trailer to get it home.
Damn I hate money...
