(Some people just don't take the time to read.)  And just how did you surmise that, Vulcan mind probe perhaps?? 

I did take the time to read the messages. The nuts were not bottomed out, that was not the problem. The problem is the half circle rubber is too big for the seat and stays above the sealing surface of the head. Much RTV and it finally sealed. Thank you for your help.
