ok, the outer pinion bearing is basically the same as the 4 BUT the inner bearing is enormous compared to the 4 cyl its deeper (thick) and larger in diameter
you can easily put your 4cyl 3rd in the v6 housing

Not sure if you remember me, but I am still building the yota. Stay tuned once I figure out how to resize pics
oh, and the rear housing is bigger diamet tube than the early trucks
