Looking for a little input on my hydro ram setup. I would like to run the ram off of my driver side high steer arm. The problem is my oil pan is in the way so the ram will have to be mounted at an angle. I think I will have to limit the ram somehow because starting at an angle I think the throw will be to long. The angle will be at it's steepest with the wheels strait ahead and will move closer to the axle center line (and away from my oil pan) when steered in either direction. As long as I make sure I clear the U bolts when it makes it's arc I should be ok. This is my first time setting up a ram so if this will not work for whatever reason feel free to correct me.

In the pic. the old shock laid across the top the high steer arm and leaf spring represents the ram and the angle it needs to sit at. The angle could be made sharper if wanted but not shallower. For reference the high steer arms face backwards and the tie rod toward the front of the truck. Axle is a Chevy d60 with Dedenbear knuckles.
