If the man keeps gooning you, for daily driving one cool option is Hummer h-1 beadlock rims. They have a pretty wild negative offset that would tuck ya in pretty good. You have to run high steer arms that are made for the h-1 rims. A friend of mine ran this setup on his Scout II. They're pretty narrow stock, like 60" wms to wms and this got him real close to that on full widths.
Or just find a rim shop that will make an offset that will keep them tucked in, there is one in Gardena that will do that for you.
