all the frame modifications including spring hangers can be made to save money. and if you get an axle in good shape then you can spend most of your money on suspension and steering. personaly i did mine top of the line everything and it ran me about 6500. but it can be done and functional especialy if your not doing extreme wheeling for close to 1000. finding used parts is key!!
