I may do the axles this week, have to re-weld the exhaust, an oil change and seal the oil pan tomorrow; it's the only thing leaking! (so far)
Went up Mt Herman today and across to Rampart via 315; all at 10 psi. Aired to 30 at the Sinclair station in Manitou and my death wobble came back with a vengeance... which is how I broke the exhaust off. Luckily it was only a few miles from home so the open header wasn't too terrible to deal with; sure was loud though.
I got a video of the truck flexing out; the fenders need a little trimming for sure. Other than that is was an uneventful outing; I want to start earlier next time, we left around 1 and got home around 7-7:30; just in time for FOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I was wondering about my death wobble... could the rear shocks have something to do with it? They're mounted inboard at a 45 degree angle... or could having 30 psi in the tires be the culprit? I'm going to air down to 20 and see what that does, hope it helps.
Also when the hubs are locked (not in 4wd) it's a pain to steer but when unlocked it's fine. I'm guessing this is normal with lockers? I almost ran off the trail a few times because of this... it was kind of scary.
