yeah i have thought about chevies, i had a set ready for my truck originally.
then i bobbed it 13 inches and now my shackle just with marlins is as far back on the frame as it could go, so there is no way i can run chevies now, way too long for my truck. but they work great so go for it!
i did the same thing. i bobbed my 83 short bed all the way to the shackle mounts now i cant run 63s
