alright i rebuilt my skid/crossmemeber today. I decided to weld tabs to the inside of the framerails and bolt to those instead of trying to use the bolt holes for the stock member. Its all welded up, just gotta throw some paint on it! I also cut a bunch of old brackets and crap off the frame and welded up about ten little round holes in the frame so it looks nice and clean. I had to relocate the tab that holds the e-brake cable, I ended up welding it on top of one of the new cross member bolt tabs. The first pic shows how i did that.
