Talk to Scott at Rockstomper, he has tried to make IFS work off road for a long time - and guess what. He runs a live axle now...
It just isn't feasable, why would you want to do it? What gain are you looking for? Go coil overs on a straight axle if you got the money, don't waste it on IFS. Buy hey, I never tried it. If you think you can go for it. Just saying others have tried with no success - but not me so I am not speaking from experience.
