That's wierd. Are you talking about the aluminum housing that holds the seal or the coupler that goes over the splined shaft? When I got the adapter they told me to set the trans up on the bellhousing and beat that thing on with a 2lb sledge
, and they weren't joking, it didn't want to go on.
I guess I'll see when I pull the trans. Hopefully it will just slide off like yours.
