it's a modified starter motor, not a winch motor. I have a friend that tried to make his own with a winch motor, it pulled WAY too many amps.
How did it work minus the pulling too many amps? I'm really interested in making one.
x2. I'd like to hook my york up to something besides my engine. I saw a warn winch motor on eBay for $80 and was wondering if that would work.
