Are you kidding    I bet that thing tows like a dream, long trailers are so much more stable!  Mink, where's your friend live?  That totally looks like it could have been taken in the paradise, ca area.

An old coworker of mine was way into bugs and we were talking about building 4x4 bugs.  Him being a ford guy, he thought using a bronco II would be the way to go, so I said "cool, you build yours on a bronco II chassis, I'll do mine on a toyota chassis, we'll go beat the snot out of them and see who breaks first!".  I think something like that would be a kick in the pants, especially if you made it a chop top convertible, which is what he was going to use for his since he'd already done that with one of his bugs.
