Your tire will grab on that side or want to due to rotational torque(technically the entire axle will want to push back when you brake but the main mounts keep THAT from happening). Without the sway bar in as well, it will pull harder to that side as a result, since the initial jerk will cause the truck to lean more that way without it installed.
