above the gromet where the ecu is the cab rusts out bad. take off the wheel well liner and the cowel, you will find rusty holes
i used some epoxy putty and fiberglass.

this is easy to fix if you never worked with fiberglass, cuz it does not need to be pretty it just needs to seal well
just scrape off all the rust and prime it then cut samll sheets of fiberglass mix small amounts of resin and layer on,.

in the cowel i would also buy autobody seam sealer in caulking tubes and at each corner of the cowel i would just flood in the a half of the tube of stuff and reach in with rubber gloves and smash it into the seams

also if your looking up through the wheel well you will see a crappy factory hole where 3 body pannels come together and water collects.  plug this up to.

make sure the drain for the cowl stays clear.
also check behind the hood hinges for soft metal it is most likely rusted out but dont worry if you do what i said you can save your truck from furhter dAmage.
