That sounds confusing...
but I'll cross that bridge later. So with duals there's no "low-low"? Hm... I have much to learn. Eh, I'll figure it out later.
Yes, duals have low-low. 2 stock dual cases will get you 5.2 to 1 low range. One case with 4.7's get you 4.7 to 1 low range. Dual cases with 4.7 gears in one case gets you 10.7 to 1 low range

That's also called a dual ultimate crawler setup.
It's in the "extended payment plan"... since I am unemployed and all that goodness. I think the Alcans are 5" and I have 37" MTRs and spare wheels for the trails. I'll run small radials around town; like P235/75s or something cheap. That front axle has 5.29s and I should be picking up the rear third with a Detroit and 5.29s in November; I'm thinking about selling the stock axles (open/open 4.10s?) down the line and I'm planning on having this ready for next year's CO4RJ ![Fingers Crossed :crossed:](https://board.marlincrawler.com/Smileys/marlin/crossed.gif)
37" MTR's will work great! You'll want something bigger than 235/75's for town with 5.29's. You'll be spinning 4K RPM at 50 mph. 35's with 5.29's put you back to stock gearing. I'd sell the open axles for sure to get you some $$$ towards your rig. You have until the end of July / start of August to get it done then if you are going to make the next CO4RJ!!
