ya man your truck would be pretty much perfect with the 3.4 in it... that motor will turn a 3rd gen x-cab into a freakin' dragster....
ill tell you what, my motor is very healthy and i havent had any issues with it in 6 years as of this last month. i actually dragged my friend last weekend and killed him.

heads up we were the same my truck being decently heavier and my truck was flat out faster by a lot. it has all its power between 4-5K though.
