One note: Do Not Under Any Circumstances Leave Any Food Out Unattended.. The Seagulls are highly trained and will reenact several scenes from Alfred Hitchthingys movie "The Birds". The Squirrels are very friendly here and will darn near climb up onto your lap to share a sandwich with you!

ya i learned that the hard way brother thought it would be funny to put a cracker on the roof of my truck and i didnt relize what he did till iit was to late suddenly i here a bang on the roof of my truck it was a damn seagal trying to get the cracker it left a quarter size dent in my roof and the squirrels are very friendly if u relay wanted to u could prob pet them if your feeding them grapes or somthing just watch your toes if your wereing sandles they will mistake your toes for food.

and the campground at Morro strand does have a fire pit and if u want showers go up to avila beach they have showers u have to pay but they have showers up at the last pier. but other wise Morro bay is beautiful.
