Re: After market Fuel gauge?

I have to ask does your cell have four nipples or just two mine has 4 Id assume one return one vent and two out  to the engine and Id assume that I could tie the outs together how would I know what one is the vent and what one is the return ?

Mine only has three, two on the side at the bottom—feed, one on top—vent.

If you have the ball valve there do you just leave it open all the time?

No, only open it when I am pumping fuel into the main tank. If I left it, open all the time the vacuum in the system would pull the fuel into the main tank, overfilling in and flooding the C.C.

What is the LxWxH of yours?

Have no idea; it has been in there for years.

In the last Pic is that a vent and what did you use for the actual vent?

I have a rollover valve in the cell that I modified for a hose barb and the rest I cobbled together out of fittings I had laying around.

With the sump you still used a pump right and I assume you have the pump on a toggle switch?

I used a small low-pressure fuel pump I bought at NAPA and it is controlled by a toggle switch in the cab.

O one more how do you get gas in that with it mounted under?

I cut a hole in my flatbed for filling.
