I'd like to kept the 98 transmission (It's a milage thing) If I could use the Toyota Turbo tranny from behind that diesel and a 3.0 bell the tranny will need a rebuild vs custom spacer between bell and 3.4L block. I kinda like the idea of pushing the Tranny/TC weight back another inch which will also result in a required extension of the front driveline. (Weight distribution, equal length drivelines?)
Routing of exhaust is still up fer debate.
Whether it crosses over by the TC or above the bell it still has to cross over and eventually run down Drivers side?
