.. I have heard that your better off with a 1 pc shaft than goin with a 2pc/cv shaft. u have to 2 more things to worry about breaking on your d-shaft besides u-joints now. The carrier (which should only need to be greased and inspected periodically and a 3rd u-joint. Anyway..just putting it out there.
My rear drive line is one piece, cv welded on at the tcase side
