Yes, you are correct. :hammerhead:

To set the record straight:

The black plug 55 amp alternator IS used on some 4x2 trucks.
They are found on Canadian, and USA frigid zone pickups.

Living in Fresno with 110 degree summers, I do not recall ever seeing a black plug on a 4x2 truck.
