Anybody do a 3.4 to 4.0 swap in a 99 Taco? Is it a "bolt in" or a complete overhaul?
You're looking at some major modifications. Can it be done? Anything is possible... the 1GR has totally different engine mounts, so it's not a "bolt in" by any means. It's also a throttle by wire engine, so you'd have to get the gas pedal outta the truck too.
