I fired the truck up for the first time today and ran it through the gears to make sure the duals were set up and not giving me any issues. I do have a problem I have twin sticks on the rear case and when I shift it into 4wd it goes into 4wd my light comes on but if you hit the 4wd shifter it will pop back into 2wd. I know on the trail the first rock I hit will put me back in 2wd.
anyone have any ideas before I pull it all apart. the 4wd shifter hardly feels like it shifts back at all.
the only thing i can think of is that you didnt cut the shift rail enough so its hitting the adapter and not engaging all the way
